Lumbar spondylosis is the term given to wear and tear of the lumbar (lower back) spinal discs. This condition is often used to describe degenerative arthritis of the spine.
Causes-
- It appears to be a non-specific ageing phenomenon.
Symptoms
- Can have no symptoms, but people may experience:
Pain areas
- in the back, legs, thighs and buttocks that worsens with standing.
- Muscular: muscle weakness or muscle spasms.
